Q: Can I reach you after hours?
A: Absolutely. We are always available after hours and on weekends by phone or email and our 24/7
emergency line is always available in case of after hour emergencies.
Q: Can you put the money directly into my account?
A: Yes, Abaris Realty uses a cutting edge management software platform that allows us to deposit rental
proceeds directly into an Owners account via ACH each month. And, it is free. No checks and no trips to the bank.
Q: Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
A: Yes, all clients who work with Abaris Realty will review and approve the lease we prepare for a
new tenant. We want al, our Owners to sign off on the person we place in their home.
Q: Do you sell real estate too?
A: Yes, we are a full service Real Estate Brokerage with over 42 years of experience selling homes
throughout the DC Metropolitan region.
Q: How and when do I get my checks?
A: Owners typically receive their Owners Proceeds deposits the second week of the month, as soon as the
Tenants payments have cleared and the late payment cutoff has passed.
Q: How is rent collection handled?
A: Tenants pay online directly into the Abaris rental account with a check or credit card. It is free for
Tenants to pay with their checking account and this ensures we receive and deposit rent quickly, allowing us
to pay owners faster than many property management companies.
Q: How long of a lease do you sign?
A: Typically, no less than 12 months, depending on Owner Preferences.
Q: How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
A: One months rent typically although, if an Owner requires two, we will require this from the Tenant
as allowed by the county in which the property is located.
